The Position
Our facility manufactures components for the construction, water treatment and transportation industries in Independence, KS. We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and professional Mold maker. This is an on-site, non-remote position reporting to the Plant Manager. Make wooden molds and plugs for the manufacturing of parts using various types of wood, FRP, and power tools. See your work transform into a manufactured part. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interpret part prints.
- Working knowledge of CAD.
- Build molds according to blueprint.
- Cutting / trimming wood to fit design.
- Use correct tools for the job.
- Cleaning and maintaining work tools.
- Cleaning and maintaining safety equipment.
- Cleaning work areas at the end of the workday.
- Working in a safe manner and following all safety rules.
- Other activities or tasks as assigned.
