We are seeking an Overhead Crane System Engineer to join our team at MFGWorx. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience and a strong background in engineering and design.
This role involves performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment. Regular travel to worksites is also required.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and implement maintenance plans for overhead cranes
- Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment
- Perform inspections to OSHA/ASME criteria
- Troubleshoot crane systems: electrical circuits, equipment malfunctions, etc.
- Assemble and repair complex machinery
- Complete all appropriate documentation in a timely manner
Required skills and qualifications:
- Engineering experience with industrial systems
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience as a crane technician or in electrical/mechanical roles
- 3-5 years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience required
- Experience troubleshooting 480v 3-phase motor control systems a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Some computer proficiency preferred
