Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Transportation Driver is responsible for providing safe and secure transportation for clients to various destinations. The role includes maintaining accurate mileage and maintenance logs as required, ensuring vehicle safety, and notifying management of any safety concerns. The driver must adhere to company regulations, maintain a professional demeanor with clients and colleagues, and meet required performance standards.
Key Duties:
- Transport clients to various locations safely.
- Maintain mileage and maintenance logs in accordance with California Highway Patrol guidelines.
- Report any safety issues to the Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager.
- Maintain professionalism and efficiency when interacting with clients, co-workers, and the public.
- Support company rules and regulations and adhere to a dress code.
- Achieve an average score of 4.0 or higher on the MFI Driver Survey.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License (Class B if applicable).
- High School diploma or GED.
- Professional appearance in line with company dress code.
- Maintain valid liability insurance and a good driving record to meet insurance requirements.
Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of the California Motor Vehicle Code and vehicle operation safety.
- Ability to perform basic emergency vehicle repairs (e.g., changing a tire).
- Defensive driving skills and ability to read city/county street signs.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain positive relationships.
- Ability to manage basic record-keeping and vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must be insurable at standard automobile rates.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Fingerprint clearance from FBI and DOJ.
- Negative tuberculosis test and successful drug screening.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to move about, stand, or sit for extended periods.
- Physical strength to lift up to 25 pounds and perform tasks such as bending or reaching.
- Good hearing, vision, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Pay: $20.00 - $31.75 per hour
