Job Description:

Mfinite Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Training Instructor to deliver professional training sessions for the Maryland Judiciary. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive Power BI Data Analysis training to a diverse group of analysts, researchers, and operations managers.

This is a contract position with specific training sessions scheduled in March 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver two (2) multi-day in-person training sessions on Power BI to approximately forty (40) attendees (20 per session).
• Develop and provide training materials, including demo datasets and test environments, in digital form at least one day prior to the start of the training.
• Cover a range of topics including data analysis with self-service BI, connecting to data sources, data cleaning, profiling, shaping, visualizing data, enhancing data analysis, modeling data, creating interactive visualizations, using advanced analysis techniques, enhancing reports and dashboards, publishing and sharing reports, and extending Power BI beyond the desktop.
• Ensure that the training content is tailored to the skill levels of the attendees, who are generally basic-intermediate Power BI users with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Utilize the state-of-the-art training facilities at the Maryland Judicial Center, including various audio and video functionalities.
• Collaborate with the Contract Manager to finalize technology requirements for the training room.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience within the past seven (7) years providing on-site face-to-face IT training, including Power BI.
• Proven experience in developing and delivering comprehensive Power BI training programs.
• Strong knowledge of data analysis, data visualization, and reporting using Power BI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to engage and effectively train a diverse group of professionals with varying skill levels.
• Experience with advanced Microsoft Excel, Tableau, SPSS, and SQL Server is a plus.
  
  
  

Training Schedule:

• Training Session 1: March 3-7, 2025
• Training Session 2: March 24-28, 2025
• Each session will be 3 to 5 days long, with attendees available from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, including approximately six to six and a half hours of instruction per day with appropriate breaks.
