Hours : Up to 10 hours per week, flexible schedule
Overview : Mfinite Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Architect to join our team temporarily to support the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE).
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments and will be responsible for maintaining, implementing, and designing solutions for MSDE's M365 Tenant.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess the current state of MSDE's O365 and Microsoft cloud technologies.
- Recommend best practices and configurations for M365 to the MSDE CIO and Office of Information Technology.
- Collaborate with Microsoft resources to perform standard assessments.
- Work with MSDE OIT key stakeholders to ensure tenants are well-managed and compliant.
- Develop standards for the use of Office 365 tools and environments.
- Create architectural documentation in collaboration with the Director of Infrastructure.
- Educate and inform IT partners on platform usage and client solutions.
- Manage projects such as setting up Entra ID Connect, Conditional Access, automated reports, and SharePoint Hub and Team Sites.
