What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Manager position at MFS Supply?
Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the company’s receiving, fulfillment, production, and assembly operations.
- Achieve required KPI’s as directed
- Lead hiring process for new team members and drive effective onboarding
- Ensure proper training is provided for all employees.
- Oversees cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
- Maintains facility and equipment.
- Perform Quality Control checks on all current and new operations to meet the company’s expectations.
- Continues to develop and maintain production scheduling to meet customer’s needs.
- Manage resources and production schedule to meet or exceed targeted completion dates
- Maintain facility according to 5S and all relevant safety standards.
- Completes ongoing reports to ensure communication to management illustrating KPI’s and metrics.
- Maintains confidentiality of all company/client information.
- Attends necessary company meetings, training sessions as needed.
Working Conditions/Environment:
Works primarily in a warehouse environment where the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, lift upwards of 35 lbs. regularly, walk, reach, grasp and bend while moving about their workstation and facility. May be required to work overtime and/or weekends as needed. The employee may periodically be exposed to non-ambient temperatures, odors, or dust. All required PPE must always be worn while in the warehouse environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
- 5 years as Operation or Plant Manager
- Proficient in Office365
- NetSuite experience a plus
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Forklift Trainer certification a plus.

- Proven experience using oral and written communication skills to effectively resolve problems
