What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Nurse - PCU position at MFS Talent?
Shift : Rotating - 12 hours, 36hrs / week, On-Call Required - May be assigned at least two 12-hour on-call shifts per 4-week scheduling period. Day Shift : 0645-1915. Night Shift : 1845-1915. Hours of Operation : Mondays 0645 to Saturday 1900.-Work location : Onsite; Palo Alto, CA-Compensation : $60 to $67 per hourDuties and Responsibilities -Frequent assessments of patient conditions, including monitoring vital signs, heart rate, oxygen levels, and other clinical indicators.-Interpreting cardiac rhythms and other diagnostic tests, especially for patients with cardiac conditions.-Regularly evaluating the patient's overall health and making necessary adjustments to care plans.-Safely administering medications, including IV medications, pain management drugs, and other prescribed treatments.-Monitoring patients' reactions to medications and adjusting care as necessary.-Managing central lines, chest tubes, ventilators, and other advanced medical equipment.-Working closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.-Communicating changes in patient status promptly to physicians and other team members.Education Qualifications-Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Experience-Step-down experience, post-surgical experience required.Licenses and Certifications-CA-RN (Registered Nurse)-Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare ProvidersBenefits-Health / Dental / Vision Insurance -Sick time off
