What are the responsibilities and job description for the CT Technologist position at MFS Talent?
Shift : Rotating - 10 Hour, 40hrs / week-Work location : Onsite; Pleasanton, CA-Compensation : $70 to $81 per hourDuties and Responsibilities-Administers IV contrast in accordance with department policy.-Ensures that equipment and accessories are maintained and functioning. Reports problems to supervisor.-Evaluates CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately label.-Transmits all exams to PACS (Picture archiving and communication systems).-Instructs and prepares patients for imaging procedure.-Performs specialized tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.-Performs routine and specialized CT exams.-Maintains high degree of exam quality, proper DFOV (Display Field of View), protocol, name and MRN (Medical Record Number).Education Qualifications-High school diploma.Experience-CT / XR tech that has current Siemens CT, Siemens Xray, FuJi Xray, EPIC, Sectra PACS experienceLicenses and Certifications-BLS - Basic Life Support -CRT - Respiratory Therapist -ARRT-RTR - Reg Tech-Radiography ARRT -ARRT-CT - Cert Arrt in CT within 1 Year -VEN - Venipuncture Cert within 30 DaysBenefits-Health / Dental / Vision Insurance-Sick time off
