What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inpatiet Scheduler position at MFS Talent?
Shift : Days - 8 hours, 40hrs / week, 8am to 4 : 30pm, Mondays to Fridays-Work Location : Onsite, Palo Alto, CA-Compensation : $27 to $35 per hourDuties and Responsibilities -Schedule complex surgeries requiring strong knowledge of procedure, department protocols and timing-Centralized surgery and procedure scheduling-Answer inbound calls and manages appropriately-Monitor grids, durations and , information, accuracy and placing cases-Manage coordination of upcoming schedules-Review next day schedule with RNs and anesthesia-Support assignment and management of anesthesia resources for Main Campus, LPH, and APS sites-Coordination of inpatient availability for inpatient, To Be Admitted and Surgical Pre-Admits-Knowledge of EIPC and its functions-Problem solving to identify, prevent, or resolve inter or intra-departmental problems-Facilitate optimization of same day , closing rooms down, combining rooms-Monitor equipment down for repair-Rearrangement, cancel and edit surgical cases-Vendor management as appropriate to role-Direct surgeon communication regarding clarification to case details and updatesEducation Qualifications-
High School Diploma or GED Required-Medical Terminology Preferred-Associate's DegreeExperience -1 year directly related work experienceBenefits-Health / Dental / Vision Insurance-Sick time off
