What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nursing Coordinator - Admin Cancer Ctr position at MFS Talent?
Shift : Days - 10 hours, 40hrs / week-Work location : Onsite, Palo Alto, CA-Compensation : $85 to $90 per hourDuties and Responsibilities -Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' pain levels and needs.-Develop and implement individualized pain management care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.-Educate patients and their families about pain management options, treatment plans, and medication use.-Coordinate between different healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure cohesive pain management.-Educate patients on the safe use of pain medications and manage prescription refills as needed.-Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including pain assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pain management strategies and make adjustments as necessary.-Advocate for patients' needs and preferences in pain management, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Education Qualifications-Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution. (preferred) Licenses and Certifications -RN - Registered Nurse -BLS - Basic Life Support Experience -Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience Benefits -Health / Dental / Vision Insurance -Sick time off
