Shift : TBD-Work location : Onsite; Aurora, CO -Compensation : $40 to $50 per hourDuties and Responsibilities-Carry out speech, language, and communication therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). This may include activities to improve articulation, fluency, voice, language development, and cognitive-communication skills.-Implement therapeutic techniques and exercises as outlined in the treatment plans designed by the SLP.-Support the use of communication aids, such as speech-generating devices or communication boards, as instructed by the supervising SLP.-Conduct preliminary screenings of speech, language, and hearing abilities, as directed by the SLP, to determine if further evaluation is needed.-Gather information during therapy sessions to track patient progress, noting behavioral responses, therapy outcomes, and areas for improvement.-Document patient performance, progress, and outcomes during therapy sessions and relay findings to the supervising SLP.-Keep detailed logs of therapy goals, milestones, and adjustments to treatment plans as guided by the SLP.-Set up and organize materials for therapy sessions, including worksheets, games, and exercises.Education Qualifications-Associate's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting-Bachelor's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders (Optional but Preferred Experience-2-3 years of directly related experience RequiredLicenses and Certifications -SLPA Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (Optional but Preferred) Benefits-Health / Dental / Vision Insurance-Sick time off
