Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with prospective tenants. This position requires a blend of sales skills, customer relationship management, and knowledge of property leasing laws.
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Assist clients in understanding lease agreements and terms, ensuring clarity on all aspects of the contract.
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services or amenities to potential renters.
- Maintain accurate files and documentation related to leasing activities and tenant information.
- Negotiate lease terms with prospective tenants while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
- Provide outstanding customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current tenants to enhance tenant retention.
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track interactions and manage leads effectively.
- Stay informed about property management laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Experience
- Previous experience in property leasing or real estate is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service background with proven ability to engage clients positively.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and file management processes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on phone etiquette.
