We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, gardens, and lawns. This role requires a hands-on approach to landscape maintenance, ensuring that all outdoor areas are well-kept and inviting. The Groundskeeper will work with various tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular lawn care, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth.
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and planting as needed.
- Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure optimal moisture levels for plants.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or enhancements as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques and groundskeeping practices.
- Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
- Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping tasks.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance.
