Overview
The Apartment Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the apartment community, focusing on both the interior and exterior spaces. This includes regularly cleaning common areas such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, and parking areas, as well as ensuring that amenities like laundry rooms and clubhouse areas are clean and well-maintained. The Porter will also assist with groundskeeping tasks such as removing trash, handling seasonal cleanups, and performing minor maintenance duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and dedicated to ensuring that the property remains inviting and well-kept at all times, contributing to an excellent resident experience.
- Perform regular lawn care, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth.
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and planting as needed.
- Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure optimal moisture levels for plants.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.
- Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness.
- Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or enhancements as directed.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner.
Skills
- Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques and groundskeeping practices.
