Nursing Coordinator - Admin Cancer Ctr

Job Description

  • Shift : Days - 10 hours, 40hrs / week
  • Work location : Onsite, Palo Alto, CA
  • Compensation : $85 to $90 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' pain levels and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized pain management care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and their families about pain management options, treatment plans, and medication use.
  • Coordinate between different healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure cohesive pain management.
  • Educate patients on the safe use of pain medications and manage prescription refills as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including pain assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pain management strategies and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Advocate for patients' needs and preferences in pain management, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

    Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution. (preferred)

    • Licenses and Certifications

  • RN - Registered Nurse
  • BLS - Basic Life Support

    • Experience

  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
