Job Description
Shifts Available : 8hour x5 day / week, Monday-Tuesday. Wednesday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm, Saturday / Sunday 7am-3 : 30pm
Work location : Onsite; Palo Alto, CA
Compensation : $72 to $80 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
Documents observations made during the procedure for final interpretation by the physician or other qualified medical professional; obtain pertinent diagnostic images for record documentation when presenting cases.
Operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment and observes sound wave patterns produced. Produces and processes diagnostic images and presents completed sonograms to the physician.
Performs a variety of electrocardiography procedures utilizing ultrasonic high frequency.
Perform proper Doppler technique and documentation of Doppler information, color and Doppler spectral imaging, color & spectral scale.
Reviews patient medical history in the chart information system. Reloads prior exams for comparison. Utilizes ancillary equipment appropriately (Xcelera PACS - Picture Archiving and Communication systems).
Spots check exams for required views and adequate demonstration of anatomy. Completes exams within the required timeframe

Requirement met by License / Certification Requirement.
Licenses and Certifications
ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography
ECHO SONOGRAPHER REQUIRES : CCI or RDCS.
Experience
Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience
