SUMMARY OF ROLE 

As a Sales Development Representative at MFUSED, you will be responsible for performing outside sales activities, including making sales, obtaining orders or contracts for services, and promoting the company's products in the cannabis industry within the state assigned. This role requires you to work away from the company's place of business, primarily engaging with clients and customers in various locations. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following but other duties may be assigned): 

  • Make sales of MFUSED cannabis products to prospective clients and customers. 
  • Obtain orders or contracts for the use of MFUSED products or services. 
  • Promote MFUSED products and services by conducting sales presentations and demonstrations. 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the cannabis industry, including market trends and competitor analysis. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers to foster long-term partnerships. 
  • Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries or concerns promptly. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives. 
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements. 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities. 

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISRATOINS: 

  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation. 
  • Any required licenses or permits related to the cannabis industry in the state working in. 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • High school degree or GED. 
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous. 
  • At least 21 years old. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  
COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES): 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities. 
  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry and related products is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Proficiency in using sales software. 
  • Willingness to travel within the state. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

This role involves frequent travel to meet with clients and customers. Physical demands may include standing, walking, and carrying presentation materials. Work environment may vary from client offices to outdoor locations, depending on customer meetings. 

 

Outside Sales Exempt Status: 

This position is classified as an exempt outside sales role as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). You will be compensated on a guaranteed salary, commission, or fee basis, with the amount of compensation primarily based on your sales performance. You will customarily and regularly perform your duties away from the company's place of business, engaging with clients and customers to make sales and obtain orders for our products and services.
