Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
- Create and implement sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed hotel occupancy and revenue goals.
- Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, event planners, and travel agencies.
- Conduct site visits and presentations to prospective clients to promote hotel services and facilities.
3. Networking and Prospecting:
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel and generate leads.
- Utilize CRM and sales tools to track and manage leads, client interactions, and sales progress.
4. Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
- Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals to secure business for the hotel.
- Ensure that all sales activities comply with legal and company policies.
5. Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract new business.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to set pricing strategies and manage inventory effectively.
6. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for management detailing sales activities, forecasts, and market conditions.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to maintain market competitiveness.
7. Budget Management:
- Assist in the development and management of the sales budget.
- Monitor expenditures and make recommendations for cost-effective operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
