Interpreter and Translator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Interpreters & Translators to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in linguistics and be proficient in multiple languages, including American Sign Language. This role requires the ability to accurately translate and interpret spoken and written communications, ensuring clear and effective communication between parties of different linguistic backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from one language to another while maintaining the original meaning and context.
• Interpret spoken conversations in real-time, facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate linguistic support.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Collaborate with other team members to enhance communication strategies and improve service delivery.
• Stay updated on industry terminology and cultural nuances to provide accurate translations and interpretations.

Experience

• Strong multilingual skills with proficiency in at least two languages; knowledge of American Sign Language is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of linguistics, grammar, and cultural contexts related to the languages being translated or interpreted.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
