Operations Supervisor (First Shift)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Supervisor to oversee all aspects of shift operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, optimizing performance, enhancing customer relationships, driving continuous improvement, and fostering team development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and schedule labor requirements to meet production goals while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Conduct shift briefings to ensure clear communication of critical updates and expectations.
- Assign and monitor tasks, ensuring timely completion and operational efficiency.
- Oversee order sequencing to prioritize shipments, minimize delays, and maintain high service levels.
- Hold team members accountable for proper picking, packing, and quality assurance standards.
- Track, analyze, and report departmental performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Approve and manage labor hours in compliance with company policies, ensuring accurate payroll processing.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance appraisals while handling disciplinary matters professionally.
- Build strong relationships with customers by understanding and addressing their service needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
