The ideal candidate will have experience with legal research, preparing written discovery and pleadings, e-filing and document management systems.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously.
- Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys.
- Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings.
- Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case material.
- Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners.
- Contemporaneous accounting and submission of personal billable time.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain case files, exhibits and documents
- Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with preparing trial exhibits
- Review documents in document management systems
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
- Minimum 3 years' of litigation experience (Asbestos litigation experience is a plus)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in an organized and efficient manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, File & Serve, and Pacer (Aderant knowledge is a plus)
- Attendance & Punctuality: Be consistently at work and on time; arrive at meetings and appointments on time; ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent
- Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer Service: Respond promptly to attorney and client requests for service and assistance; meet commitments
- Dependability: Follow instructions; complete tasks on time; commit to the hours necessary to complete assignments; work independently
