Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Architect at MGA Architecture. The Project Architect will be responsible for overseeing project submittals, and managing architectural projects. The role involves hands-on project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should possess a strong architectural background and demonstrate proficiency in various design and drafting software. This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and contractors to develop innovative architectural solutions that meet project requirements. The Project Architect will be responsible for overseeing the design process from concept through construction, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Candidate should be U.S. citizens, residents of Oahu, or seriously interested in relocating.
- Professional experience as a Project Architect or similar role within an architectural firm.
- Confident design-oriented Architect with 5 to 10 years of post-professional degree experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Has a working knowledge of all phases of project delivery.
- Capable of multi-tasking on medium to large complex projects.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketch-up, and Adobe Creative Suite with working knowledge of Revit.
- Registration as a licensed Architect is preferred, but candidates working toward licensure will be considered.
- Certifications in LEED or BIM are a plus.
