About the Job
The Caddie Scholarship Fund summer internship is a dynamic, mission-driven opportunity for a versatile and strategic individual to support multiple facets of our organization's operations. This utility player role encompasses social media engagement, alumni relations, event support, and administrative tasks that directly contribute to the growth and impact of our scholarship programs. Internship start and end dates are flexible but ideally will be May 15 - Aug 15.
What You'll Do
Social Media and Community Engagement
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase awareness of the Caddie Scholarship Fund (MGACSF).
- Create engaging content across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).
- Design and execute social media campaigns that highlight scholarship recipients, donor impact, and program achievements.
- Develop storytelling content that showcases the transformative power of the scholarship programs.
- Track and analyze social media metrics to continually refine engagement strategies.
Alumni Relations Management
- Update and maintain the alumni contact database to ensure accurate information.
- Build out and optimize our LinkedIn alumni network as a professional resource.
- Help develop engagement strategies to keep alumni connected to the organization.
- Assist in collecting and documenting alumni success stories for promotional materials.
Event and Administrative Support
- Provide on-site administrative support for in-person events.
- Assist with event planning, coordination, and day-of logistics.
- Digitize scholarship files and create organized digital archives.
- Support general office operations and administrative tasks as needed.
Fundraising and Outreach Support
- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative fundraising strategies.
- Assist in organizing and promoting fundraising events.
- Support donor relations efforts, including drafting communication materials and thank-you notes.
- Help research and identify potential new donors and partnership opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Current undergraduate or graduate student.
- Interest in nonprofit management, sports administration, or education.
- Exceptional social media and digital communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Passion for supporting educational opportunities through golf.

Compensation
- $16.50 per hour

Additional Information
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience in nonprofit operations while making a meaningful impact by supporting educational opportunities for young golfers and contributing to the growth of scholarship programs.
Note: The intern should plan to work in our Elmsford, NY office Monday – Thursday, depending on organizational needs. In-person attendance will be required for events and specific administrative tasks. The intern will have the option to work from home on Fridays.
