What You'll Do
- Continue the digitization initiative for MGA's historical documents and photographic collections.
- Continue implementation of professional archival organizational systems.
- Contribute to the management of the MGA's digital repository infrastructure
- Update metadata where needed.
- Oversee periodical management, preservation and digitization.
- Collaborate on special projects, offering diverse experience.
- Conduct research supporting The Met Golfer magazine publications.
- Engage in additional professional library science practices.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment in an ALA-accredited MLIS program or relevant library experience.
- Demonstrated research methodology skills with capacity for independent project management.
- Background in digital preservation best practices and archival standards.
- Technology proficiency including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and adaptability to specialized information systems.
- Experience with digital collection management and institutional repositories
- Exceptional attention to detail with project management capabilities.
- Knowledge of Soutron Global library management system is advantageous but not required.
