What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Controls Manager position at MGAC?

This position requires on-site support at the Westlake Village office, with the possibility of some hybrid work depending on company and client needs
\n- 5 years cost management/project control or cost monitoring experience on large-scale construction projects.
- Familiarity with PMWeb or equivalent construction project management software is preferred.
- Working knowledge and experience reviewing project schedules and budgets within the A/E/C industry.
- Bachelor's or higher degree in construction management or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Work as a key member of a team focused on all aspects of project and cost controls spanning a variety of specialty new-build design and construction projects.
- Assist in the preparation of capital project cost reports, including cash flow and commitment projections for tracking of expenditures and comparisons of budgeted versus actual costs
- Review consultant and contractor cost reports to ensure consistency in project management policies and procedures
- Assist Project Manager with analysis and preparation of project cost reports and dashboards
- Review and validate contractor payment applications including verification of work-in-place, materials procured and stored, and projections for remaining scope.
- Report cost status, cash flow forecasting, accruals, variance analysis and update all relevant systems with the required data.
- Support development of pay requisition and supporting needs to request funding.
- Determine the funding source for all change requests and provide guidance to the project team prior to workflow approvals in the relevant systems.
- Provide cost and schedule review support for reviewing, negotiating and formalizing change orders.
- Ensure the estimated cost at completion and the project schedule are updated to capture risks or opportunities as per required cadences.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
