MGC Contractors, Inc is looking for experienced Administrative Assistant to support training and business development initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Create and update new hire profiles in the company's Learning Management System (LMS).
- Archive terminated employee profiles in the LMS.
- Record training documentation in the company's LMS.
- Sort and organize hard copies of training documentation
- Create and maintain a training documentation backup database.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Training Coordinator to track employee training.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Training Coordinator to schedule training.
- Run requested training reports to share with management.
- Develop and track bid, proposal, and closed out project data analytics.
- Any and all other duties assigned.
KNOWLEGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Knowledge of the general policies and practices of construction companies preferred.
- Proficient experience in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry software.
- Fundamental knowledge of construction techniques, building materials, standards and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
- This position operates in a professional office environment that routinely uses standard office equipment requiring the ability to communicate in person and over the telephone with other employees, the ability to interpret printed materials and a computer screen, the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, the ability to lift and carry supplies and files weighing up to 10 pounds and to move about the inside of the office to access supplies, office machinery, etc.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in English and Spanish (Read/Write/Speak) required.
- High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in data entry or related fields are a plus.
- Proven experience with construction data entry preferred.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the requisite knowledge, skills and ability.
