We are currently seeking a full-time Billing Admin Specialist in our Columbia office. We're looking for candidates that work well in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A college degree is preferred but not required. This position offers flexibility regarding a hybrid work arrangement after successful completion of our training period.
Candidates should be professional, with strong organizational and time management skills. This position also requires strong attention to detail and accuracy. Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, and have previous experience in a billing or administrative role.
This position is pivotal in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes, ensuring timely invoicing, as well as verifying that our matters have the proper set up to meet our client’s requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Invoicing
- Timely generation and dispatch of precise statements to clients
- Thorough verification of billing information for accuracy before sending statements
- Coordinate the organization of paper bills for client delivery
- Oversee the distribution of faxed and emailed invoices
Billing Systems Maintenance
- Proficient use of billing software to record and process statements
- Review integrity of matter set up for billing purposes ensuring adherence to billing requirements
- Manage time import issues between our billing system and file management system
- Maintain and monitor various inboxes related to billing invoices, closing matters, and updates that would affect billing processes

- Providing exemplary customer service in handling billing concerns
