MGC is looking for a hardworking individual with a strong desire to learn to join our team. The field tech will work closely with the field manager and outside plant engineers to complete pre-construction engineering projects. Applicants that are hired by MGC will be trained from the ground up on industry standards.
Responsibilities :
- Perform field survey work, such as measuring aerial and underground utilities in addition to accurately documenting their markings.
- Utilize analog and electronic measurement tools to survey utility poles.
- Map utilities on base map in AutoCAD(training in AutoCAD will be provided) .
- Provide in the field insights and evaluate constructability issues to offer guidance on appropriate construction methodologies.
- Maintain and update tasks on SharePoint, ensuring effective task management.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager and provide regular status updates.
