MGM Energy is a participating contractor for the Energy Saving Assistance Program. Sponsored by Southern California Edison, Southern California Gas Company, Southwest Gas, and Bear Valley Electric. Job Overview:
The office clerk will assist in office operations and is expected to complete all office tasks assigned, meet program guidelines, and perform accurate data entry for several databases. Our office clerk should be able to provide outstanding customer service and have good communication skills.
Reports to:
- The Office Clerk reports to the Office Administrator
Responsibilities and Duties
- Successful complete certification training or any other required training
- Perform data entry for the company’s home improvement and weatherization programs
- Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address customer complaints
- Answer telephones, direct calls, and take messages
- Restock office supplies
- Schedule installation appointments with customers.
- Ensure data entry is accurate
- Report to work on time and prepared
- Identify and document customer eligibility according to program guidelines
- Maintain accurate customer records, files, forms, and paperwork
- Stay updated on program requirements and standards
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, staff, and utility company representatives
- Participate in the routine meetings, workshops, and training as directed by the Program Administrator
- Responsible for the excellent image of the company while on company time
- Responsible for performing other duties/tasks assigned by the Office Administrator
Requirements:
- Must have strong data entry skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience
- Ability to multi-task
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate's degree is a plus
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have strong computer skills
- Bilingual is a Plus
The Location:
Ontario, CA
Compensation:
$17.50-$20.00 p/hr

Monday-Friday
7:30am-4:30 pm
