Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. The candidate must also have a great attitude toward work and be able to lift over 50 lbs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and RF scanners, to facilitate the movement of goods.
- Assist with order picking processes, ensuring that items are selected according to project specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to comply with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and management to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Always follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Repack products and apply shipment labels or products UPC accurately and efficiently.
- Collects documents DO/ BOL and organizes records for all inbound/ outbound shipments.
- Maintain inventory controls on racks by location according to organizational standards.
- Keeps shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Sweep, dust, and mop.
- Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Manages warehouse inventory and maintains the database.
Requirements:
- Must have an active California Driver's License
- Clean Driving Record
- Must Pass Drug Test and Physical Exam
- Must Pass 7 Year criminal background check
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have basic computer skills
- Solid math skills
- Spanish Speaker Prefer.
