Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills. A background in affordable housing with knowledge of LIHTC. is preferred. Must be have experience in leasing, resident retention/renewals, and marketing capabilities.
Technology
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Characteristics
Must be an effective communicator
Ability to process problems and recommend sound solutions
The ability to multi task and lead a team with positive reinforcement
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with clean background history
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain a high occupancy rate.
Ensure grounds are policed daily for superior curb appeal.
Perform all leasing and marketing functions for community.
Responsible for rent collections and deposits.
Follow resident screening guidelines and ensure compliance for all applicants.
Review and approve all applicant files prior to move-in for compliance with policies.
Process all resident renewals and Tenant Income Certifications while following the company policies set forth.
Enforce all rules and regulations of the property to ensure a safe and happy community
Ensure compliance with all fair housing laws when conducting leasing transactions.
Work with Regional Manager regularly to review performance and discuss upcoming changes and strategies.
Compensation & Benefit Package
Full-time hourly position
$40,000 - $48,000 annual salary to commensurate with experience and industry standards
