The Job

As a Restaurant Assistant Manager, your job is to keep things running smoothly every day. You'll make sure customers feel welcome with your friendly attitude and great service. By getting to know what they like and need, you’ll create memorable experiences that make them want to come back.

The Starting Rate

$65,000-$70,000 annual range

The Day-to-day

• Create daily shift plans to ensure all stations are covered and rotated properly.
• Oversee dining room service while the restaurant is open.
• Review employee performance and handle attendance issues.
• Stay in touch with the Chef about menu and food service concerns.
• Work with management, chefs, and staff to handle guest and employee requests.
• Order supplies and request items from the warehouse as needed.
• Keep inventory organized and updated.
• Check incoming food supplies to ensure they are fresh and high-quality.
• Communicate directly with guests for special requests and large reservations.
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

• 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or in Management in a Food and Beverage industry
• Have great communication, able to be present on the floor with guest and staff alike
• Prepared to take guest beverage orders and help host if needed
• Experience with Asian culture and knowledge of Asian cuisine
• Hospitality experience
• Systems usage: Open table, seven rooms, Oracle, Workday, POS general understanding

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum - Maximum

$47,165.76 - $77,351.64

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.
