THE JOB:
It is the primary responsibility of the Assistant Retail Manager to oversee daily operations, support the management team in achieving store goals, assisting with the training and development of the staff and ensuring service standards consistently align with the department and property direction.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Practice controlling costs, maintaining inventory, and reduce any waste.
Help the store succeed by reviewing sales and performance to boost profits.
Build a strong, motivated team by observing, coaching, giving feedback, and recognizing their performance.
Hire, train, and support store staff, making sure they meet goals and follow store guidelines.
Always look for ways to improve the store and be open to try new ideas.
Build strong relationships with the team and stay accountable to your commitments.
Take care of store displays, organization, and cleanliness.
Work to increase sales and improve the store’s overall performance.
Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education certificate
2 Years of Prior Relevant Experience in retail, sales or inventory control management
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Experience supervising a team
Detail-oriented mindset
Reliable & team player
