THE JOB:
Are you passionate about audio technology and live entertainment? Blue Man Group is looking for an Audio Technician to help deliver an unforgettable experience to our guests. You'll work alongside talented professionals in a fast-paced, creative environment, ensuring the audio systems run smoothly for every performance, rehearsal, and event.
THE STARTING RATE:$38.55/hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Operate and troubleshoot audio, RF, video, and communication equipment during performances and rehearsals.
Assist with maintenance and repair of audio equipment, ensuring everything is in top working condition.
Maintain a well-organized inventory of spare parts and equipment for quick repairs.
Be flexible with your schedule, covering rehearsals, special events, and evening performances.
Contribute to exciting projects, including the installation of new audio elements for the show.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
3 years of in-depth experience as a professional audio technician with a large-scale production required.
Exposure to DiGiCo, Ableton, and QLab a plus.
