THE JOB:
As a Starbucks Barista at New York New York, you'll be at the forefront of creating exceptional guest experiences. Your warm smile and outstanding service will set the stage for every visitor. By crafting delicious beverages and serving pastries with care, you'll connect with each guest, understanding their unique needs and preferences. Through your dedication, you'll help create WOW moments that guests will remember long after their stay with us.
STARTING RATE:$19.9781 hourly, plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Order Accuracy: Efficiently take, place, and serve orders, ensuring food and beverages are prepared and garnished accurately according to guest specifications.
Cash Handling: Expertise in processing cash transactions, adhering to all proper cash handling and complimentary procedures to ensure accuracy and security.
Order Completion: Skillful in packing and completing guest orders based on their preferences, including providing necessary condiments.
Cleanliness and Sanitation: Committed to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized environment in both front and back of house, including clearing tables, sweeping dining areas, and ensuring a welcoming guest atmosphere.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work Schedule: Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Barista Experience: Experience in a barista or similar customer service role, with a strong ability to prepare and serve a variety of beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup
Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere and building positive relationships with guests.
Cash Handling Expertise: Solid experience in cash handling and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to cash handling procedures.
Team Player with a Positive Attitude: A collaborative team member who is adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic about contributing to a dynamic work environment.
