THE JOB
As a Bell Person at Bellagio, you will set the stage for the ultimate guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. You will enhance the guest experience by providing distinguished hospitality when handling guests' luggage and belongings, facilitating efficient transportation arrangements, and delivering personalized assistance with professionalism and courtesy. Understanding their uniquestories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW moments and memories they will carry with them far beyond theirstay with us.
STARTING PAY RATE: $15.0314 Per Hour Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY
- Smile and greet, warmly interact with, and assist guests and hotel staff in a professional manner
- Curate defining moments for both guests and co-workers by rendering a high level of hospitality that is in line with Company and Property core service standards and brand attributes
- Maintain a positive attitude, outgoing personality, demeanor and professional appearance
- Collect, transport, deliver, and store luggage and guest items
- Assist with group deliveries, group baggage, and various amenities
- Orient guests to guest rooms and property
- Complete applicable documentation, tickets, and other bell related forms
- Make and receive phone calls requesting information, services and deliveries
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Need to be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 75 pounds up to 100 pounds
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- One (1) year or more of Guest Facing Customer Service experience
- One (1) year of more of related experience in a similar resort setting
- Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude and has an outgoing personality
- Experience in a AAA 5 Diamond, Mobil 5 Star, or Forbes hotel/resort setting
- Tech-Savvy with a well-rounded knowledge of handheld mobile application devices
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledgeable of various hotel systems such as Opera, HotSOS, and MS Shift
- Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as standard office equipment
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards
