THE STARTING RATE: $21.0061
The Day-to-day
- Set up and tear down tables, chairs, staging, and dance floors for events.
- Dress tables with linens and skirting, ensuring proper setup of tabletop items like water pitchers and glasses.
- Transport equipment and supplies using manual flatbeds and carts.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in storage areas and meeting spaces.
- Follow daily job assignments and adapt to last-minute changes or additional requests.
- Deliver and retrieve linens for events, organizing and restocking as needed.
- Ensure water stations and other amenities are refreshed and ready for guests.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- 1 year of experience as a Convention Porter or working in labor-intensive roles, such as construction, warehouse, staging set-up and tear-down, or in a similar environment.
