THE JOB:
As a Main Kitchen Cook, you will be responsible for setting the stage for an excellent guest experience by using your culinary techniques. You'll provide high-quality food to guests from all over the world. In your role, you will partner with front-of-house staff to create WOW memories the guests will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE:$25.3134
THE DAY TO DAY:
Maintain solid knowledge of food products and skillfully apply culinary techniques
Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
Restock kitchen supplies and food items required for service
Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
Maintain solid menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
Assist kitchen leadership and staff in execution of service
Maintain solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of base sauces, stocks and soups
Work as a team, assist all guests needs and inquiries
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One year line cooking experience in high-volume kitchen environment
Experience with Banquets, Garde Manger, or hot line in restaurant
Is comfortable in a restaurant kitchen and with the use of culinary tools, equipment, and techniques
Takes pride in their work, provides a safe environment, and maintains health standards
Describes themselves as detail-oriented
Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences
Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression
Can handle multiple tasks at one time
Ability to work varied schedule, including weekends and holidays
