What are the responsibilities and job description for the Count Room Technician - Full Time - Borgata position at MGM Resorts International?
It is the responsibility of the Count Room Technician to complete shop repairs, and complete hands-on training on all gaming devices and related systems while providing excellent guest service. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs repairs as needed on slot machines and related equipment focusing on customer service. Performs preventative maintenance, modifications, and relocation of slot machines and peripheral devices.
- Coordinates with the Slot Operations staff to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
- Promotes the company’s goals and values.
- Ensures all slot machines on the casino floor are operating according to company standards.
- Rebuilds parts/equipment during down times, and maintains the parts inventory as assigned.
- Circulates through assigned areas performing repairs as necessary.
- Ensures that all slot/storage areas are cleaned and organized.
- Prioritizes workload to meet business demands.
- Responsible for the initial set-up and testing of all new slot products.
- Observes all CCC/DGE and company policies and procedures.
- Assists in the training of subordinates, and the development of new methods and techniques for training manuals.
- Responsible for the security of keys and all issued tools and equipment needed to perform the function of the position.
- Completes all regulatory/operational documents thoroughly and legibly.
- Delivers superior customer service when repairing any equipment.
