THE JOB:
Join our dynamic team, committed to delivering exceptional events across our iconic properties! As the Event Setup Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation and teardown of events, ensuring that everything is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest company standards.
THE STARTING RATE:$18.00/hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Oversee the installation and strike of decor to ensure it meets both corporate and client expectations, leaving the venue in a "Show Ready" condition and protecting goods from damage.
Develop a strong understanding of venue layouts, dock/security procedures, and ballroom specifications.
Lead and assign tasks to on-site crews, optimizing team strengths while adhering to company policies and safety protocols.
Proactively address and resolve on-site technical, creative, and timeline challenges, working closely with management to meet deadlines.
Operate company trucks, vans, and lifts, ensuring timely communication with management regarding fuel and maintenance needs.
Monitor the handling and condition of tools, inventory, equipment, and vehicles, documenting and reporting any loss or damage.
Keep internal departments, clients, and vendors informed on project status and timelines to ensure satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with design trends, technology, props, design elements, and vendor products, sharing knowledge and providing training to inspire creativity within the team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in events, hospitality, or a related industry.
At least 2 years of experience in set design, theater, or logistics preferred.
1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
