THE JOB:
At Luxor, we’re all about delivering unforgettable experiences, and we want you to be part of it! As a Slots Guest Services Representative, you’ll enhance the guest experience by assisting with slot-related inquiries, processing jackpot payouts, and enrolling guests in the MGM Resorts International Rewards Program. You’ll keep the slot area clean and organized, handle minor machine repairs, and ensure guests have everything they need for an amazing time. STARTING RATE: $16/hour plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Slot floor maintenance: Ensure the slot area remains clean and organized by pushing in chairs, picking up trash, and ensuring all machines are ready for guest use.
Minor slot repairs: Perform basic maintenance tasks, including clearing ticket/bill jams, resolving bill acceptor issues, adjusting ticket printer tilts, and replacing ticket paper.
Jackpot transactions: Accurately process slot machine jackpots, complete the necessary IRS W2G/1042-S forms, and provide clear, efficient paperwork to guests.
Guest engagement: Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor by greeting guests with a smile, making eye contact, and ensuring they receive personalized service.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Age Requirement: Must be 21 years of age or older.
Education: High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education or experience.
Availability: Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Customer Service Excellence: Possess outstanding customer service abilities, ensuring all guests receive a positive experience and have their needs addressed promptly and professionally.
Cash Handling Skills: Strong proficiency in cash handling, with the ability to process transactions accurately and manage monetary exchanges with precision.
Casino Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or casino setting preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of guest relations and operational processes.
