THE JOB:
Provide support to the Senior Hotel Manager with direction and leadership for the property Front Desk team, consistent with theMGM brand. Responsible for leading the hotel management team in achieving their stated operational and financial goals includingmanaging labor and overall financial performance. Owns the execution of functional strategy and the operational direction of theFront Desk. Ensure high customer satisfaction and an exceptional guest experience, in accordance with MGM Resorts servicestandards. All duties are performed in accordance to company policies and procedures.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Collaborate with the Senior Hotel Operations Manager to execute strategic initiatives from the Hotel Strategy CoE for seamless hotel operations.
Assist in developing and enforcing policies, operational procedures, training programs, manuals, work schedules, and regulations for the front desk operations team.
Drive employee engagement by utilizing coaching, training, rewards, and development tools to foster a motivated and high-performing front desk team.
Provide leadership and guidance to enhance the guest experience within front desk operations, ensuring alignment with company service standards.
Actively participate in recruitment, candidate selection, training, supervision, coaching, and performance management to maintain an efficient and effective front desk team.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in hospitality, management, or related field.
2 Years of Prior Relevant Experience in the direction and management of employees in a similar hotel environment.
Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement.
Technical knowledge and experience with Opera.
Technical knowledge and experience with HotSOS or other service optimization system.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
