Job Title : Lead Performance Engineer
Job Location : 6770 Edmond Street, Las Vegas, NV 89118
Job Type : Full-time, 9am - 6pm, 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday
Duties : Support the Technology Department (TDD) to conceive and develop Performance and Capacity test strategies, assess new Test Technologies and develop test engineering processes, execute performance tests, analyze, monitor and report application performance. Lead test activities in accordance with Policies and Standards. Drive test deliverables on a project basis responsive to schedule and quality requirements. Design tests with reuse in mind to fast-track quality testing of products. Optimize test cycle efficiency and effectiveness using automation. Analyze performance test results and share with business, development and internal team members as appropriate. Hybrid work permitted 3 days per week within a reasonable commuting distance of Las Vegas, Nevada Office.
Requirements : A bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or closely related field of study and eight (8) years of experience as a Software Test Engineer, Marketing Executive, Technical Test Lead, Software Engineer, QA Engineer, Senior Performance Tester, or related role where experience is gained. Employer will accept ten (10) of experience as a Software Test Engineer, Marketing Executive, Technical Test Lead, Software Engineer, QA Engineer, Senior Performance Tester, or related role where experience is gained, in lieu of a degree. Also requires experience in the following :
5 years of experience in Performance engineering and capacity testing.
5 years of experience in Developing load testing scripts for Web / Web services, HTTP / HTML, Oracle Applications 11i, ODBC, Web (Click&Script) Ajax (Click& Script) and Flex protocols.
5 years of experience in Monitoring tools such as CA UIM, APM, AppDynamics, Perfmon, Grafana or InfluxDB;
5 years of experience in Deep log analysis knowledge with tools such as the ELK stack and Splunk.
5 years of experience in Project management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence and HP ALM along with integrations to these tools.
5 years of experience in Performance diagnostics, performance architecture design, performance tuning, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and / or software development in a n-tier environment.
5 years of experience in Implementing CI pipelines with Jenkins, Circle CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub; and
5 years of experience in Facets of the Test CoE organization and the related development and test technologies.
