The Day-to-day
- Handle special requests (e.g., cake orders) with reservations and inform management.
- Stay informed about daily activities, guest count, seating, room capacity, hours, price range, and dress code.
- Greet guests promptly.
- Manage phone calls, reservations, and the reservation book.
- Ensure menus are current and in good condition.
- Communicate guest needs and feedback to the kitchen and management.
- Check in with guests waiting for a table to ensure they’re attended to.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and forward phones at the end of your shift.
