THE JOB:
It is the responsibility of the part time Poker Room Dealer to perform the act of dealing and running a game in a professional manner while providing excellent guest service.You will also play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
THE STARTING RATE: $5.55 an hour tips
DAY TO DAY:
- Conduct and assist with the operation of Poker games
- Maintain a helpful and courteous atmosphere during the game
- Ensure accuracy of table bank, table pot, and table rake
- Verbalize player instructions, rules, or any other information as required in the procedure of the game
- Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries
- Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, unnatural or irregular play, missing items, or alleged theft
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Takes pride in their work
- Describes themselves as detail-oriented
- Exhibits 1 years of poker dealing experience in a similar resort setting
- Can handle multiple tasks at one time
- Strong listening and problem solving skills
- Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit
- Looks forward to working with a team to provide positive experiences
