THE JOB :
Join the excitement at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas as a Senior Slot Mechanic! In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, relocating, and repairing slot machines and associated gaming equipment, including Ticket Redemption machines. You'll also oversee Slot Mechanics, ensuring all work is completed efficiently and up to the highest standards. With your expertise in troubleshooting and technical repairs, you'll help maintain a seamless gaming experience for our guests. THE STARTING RATE : $40.08 an hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY :
Supervision & Leadership : Oversee slot mechanics during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
Technical Troubleshooting : Diagnose and repair slot machines from various manufacturers to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
Machine & Jackpot Verification : Perform jackpot checks, winner / loser verifications, and machine validation to ensure compliance with gaming regulations.
Slot Machine Operations : Install, relocate, and convert slot machines while ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Performance & Reporting : Monitor and report staff performance and conduct to the Senior Slot Tech Manager, providing feedback and ensuring adherence to company policies.
Training & Development : Attend company-sponsored and vendor training sessions to stay updated on the latest slot machine technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE :
Age : Must be at least 21 years old.
Work Schedule : Full-time position with 10-hour shifts from 4am to 2pm, Monday through Thursday.
Education : High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience : Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in slot machine repair or a related field.
Technical Expertise : Strong mechanical knowledge of slot machines, including troubleshooting and repairs.
