THE JOB:
As a Sommelier at CATCH, you won't just serve wine, you'll craft unforgettable experiences. With your knowledge of wine lists and food pairings, combined with a warm smile and genuine service, you'll create moments that leave a lasting impression. By understanding each guest's unique story, you'll turn ordinary dining into WOW memories they'll cherish long after their visit.
THE STARTING RATE:$14.9785 plus tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Maintain wine knowledge, including food pairings
Clean and maintain equipment and workspace
Manage cellar inventory and stock levels
Train staff to minimize waste and ensure proper wine handling
Verify wine deliveries and manage returns if needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
One year of prior experience in similar role such as Sommelier or Food Server with wine knowledge
Prior experience in fine dining or similar environment
Passionate about providing excellent customer service and proper service techniques
Understanding of wine and alcohol, as well as food pairing
Sommelier certification is preferred
High School diploma, GED or equivalent
