What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Porter - MGM Springfield position at MGM Resorts International?
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
To maintain the highest standards of detail, quality, and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other required spaces, it's essential to implement a comprehensive cleaning protocol that includes regular inspections, employee training on cleanliness standards, and the use of effective cleaning supplies.
Operating professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment understanding the functionalities and safety protocols associated with each machine. This includes equipment like automatic scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and specialty vacuums.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Maintain a professional, neat and well‐groomed appearance adhering to company standards
Able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
