As an EVS Utility Porter, your responsibilities are crucial in creating a positive experience for guests by providing outstanding service, ensuring cleanliness in various areas, and contributing to a safe and inviting environment for everyone. This role not only reflects a commitment to hygiene and orderliness but also enhances the overall ambiance, making it essential to the satisfaction and well-being of both guests and staff alike.
THE STARTING RATE: $19.60 per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- To maintain the highest standards of detail, quality, and cleanliness in the casino, public areas, offices, restrooms, and other required spaces, it's essential to implement a comprehensive cleaning protocol that includes regular inspections, employee training on cleanliness standards, and the use of effective cleaning supplies.
- Operating professional floor care and specialty cleaning equipment involves understanding the functionalities and safety protocols associated with each machine. This includes equipment like automatic scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and specialty vacuums.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Ability to work safely, including understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
- Effective listening abilities
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
- Maintain a professional, neat and well‐groomed appearance adhering to company standards
- Able to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
