Job Summary:
As a Project Manager and Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of commercial construction projects. You will be responsible for estimating project costs, developing project proposals, creating RSPs, and managing all aspects of the project lifecycle from initiation to closeout. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities will be essential to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

1. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders.

2. Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet project objectives and deadlines.

3. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.

4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to relevant codes and regulations.

5. Client Communication: Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress, changes, and issues resolution.

6. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, including site superintendents, and subcontractors to achieve project goals.

7. Financial Management: Monitor project expenses, control costs, and manage project budgets to ensure profitability.

8. Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for all project stakeholders.

Estimation:

1. Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead, using industry-standard estimating tools and software.

2. Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed and competitive project bids and proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications and requirements.

3. Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotes and negotiate pricing to optimize project cost estimates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager and Estimator in the commercial construction industry.

• Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., RSMeans, 4clicks, etc.) and project management tools (e.g., Procore, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

• Professional and/or other relevant certifications (a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
