Pay Rate : $32 per hour
Job Description : Join our team as a Journeyman Electrician at an esteemed Army base in Montgomery, Alabama This position offers a competitive pay rate of $32 per hour and the opportunity to work within a secure and dynamic military environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with Army regulations and safety standards.
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with team members and military personnel to ensure electrical systems support operational needs.
Requirements :
Ability to lift over 100 lbs without concerns, as the role may involve handling heavy equipment and materials.
Possession of OSHA 40-Hour and OSHA 8-Hour Refresher certifications.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
Valid US Driver's License with an Enhanced Driver's License (No Exceptions).
Compliance with facial hair and hair length regulations to safely work around military fuel systems and jet aircraft, including passing respirator fit tests per DoD standards.
Non-smoker due to exposure to jet fuels and related environments.
US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications :
Level I Anti-Terrorism Awareness certification.
Operational Security Awareness (OPSEC) training.
Department of Defense 7-Agency Background Check.
Additional training and certifications as required for military base access.
